“Safe Training” was a 2 days workshop for medical doctors who are interested in learning about the legal and medical aspects of Safe abortion services in Rwanda. 40 Participants attended the workshop and the discussions focused on behavior change and the values of a healthcare provider when they are providing services.

 

The workshop aimed at creating increased acceptance of the legal safe abortion among health workers. The workshop featured a full day of hands-on practical sessions, where participants were trained on surgical methods of pregnancy termination using Manual Vacum Aspiration.
